For many years, Joll has written and published in the genres of historical fact, fiction and ‘faction’. His work ranges from articles for national and regional magazines, a best-selling illustrated book on the Household Cavalry, a growing collection of historical books on the people, places and things of the British Empire, and a series of military action-adventure stories set in the 19th and 20th century, which are also available as podcasts here.
