Book 1 (1821-1848): Flashman's Secret

In Book 1 of The Speedicut Papers, readers are taken on a nail-biting, roller-coaster adventure, ranging from the brothels of Dublin to the foothills of the Hindu Kush, including Speedicut’s involvement with the notorious courtesan Lola Montez and his acquisition of the Koh-i-Noor diamond for the British crown. Book 1 ends with Speedicut facing a life-threatening duel in Hyde Park.
